T-Mobile Austria concluded its financial year 2015 with growth in all segments. Revenue increased by 2 percent to EUR 829 million, and adjusted EBITDA went up from EUR 211 to 259 million, an increase of 23 percent. Adjusted EBIT rose by 85 percent to EUR 117 million.
The subscriber numbers increased by about 8 percent over the year to 4.323 million. Compared to the end of Q3, the postpaid base grew by 387,000 to 2.959 million, while prepaid customers dropped by 25,000 to 1.364 million. ARPU totaled EUR 14, stable year-on-year and down from EUR 15 in Q3. Total mobile service revenues rose 2.9 percent year-on-year in Q4 to EUR 179 million.
Capital expenditure was EUR 136 million in 2015, up by 48 percent compared to the previous year. T-Mobile Austria said it has invested in total about EUR 300 million in LTE expansion, and about EUR 1 billion including the necessary frequencies. In 2015, T-Mobile recorded a 76-percent increase in data traffic to 70,071 TB.

Spanish operators add 39,000 mobile lines in December – CNMC

Spanish mobile telephony connections increased by 38,634 lines in December after a fall of 43,633 lines the previous month to reach a total of 50.65 million, 0.1 percent more than the year-earlier figure.
The latest monthly update published by telecoms regulator CNMC revealed that a 127,646 increase in the number of postpaid lines in December compensated for a 89,012 fall in prepay lines.
A total of 480,638 lines were ported in December, some 7.8 percent less than a year ago.
