蜗牛移动陈艳:力争世界MVNO第一品牌,目前用户已经达到200万

7月9日,由DVBCN&AsiaOTT与Informa、长城会联合主办的2015虚拟运营峰会在北京隆重召开。会上,蜗牛移动总裁陈艳作了题为“创新·智造未来”的演讲。会上,陈总表示,蜗牛移动目前用户已经达到200万,要力争世界MVNO第一品牌。

In 9th July, the 2015 MVNO Summit was held by DVBCN&AsiaOTT, Informa and Great Wall Club. During the summit, the CEO of Snail Mobile Chenyan has given a speech entitled “Innovation and Wisdom Make the Future”. The subscribers of Snail Mobile has reached 2 million and they will strive to become the best brand in the world.

1、新生代运营商——成长中的中国MVNO

1 The new generation of mobile operator——The rising China MVNO

 

从2013年虚拟运营商相继发牌开始,中国已经有42家MVNO相继诞生。至此,移动游戏、宽带生活、移动增值、零售市场、智能家居、健康管理、移动办公、教育云、智能终端、移动金融、移动视频、移动传媒、移动行业、智能航空等16个行业跨界融合,逐鹿通信行业。

There have been 42 MVNOs in China since those MNOs begun to release the permit in 2013. At present, there are plenty of different industries have made connection and integration, including mobile game, broadband life, mobile value-added services, retail market, smart home, health management, mobile office, education cloud, Intelligent terminal, mobile finance, mobile video, mobile media, mobile industry, intelligent aviation.

 

陈总用了一组数据来说明中国MVNO行业发展的速度。从2014年8月正式商用开始,中国MVNO已经发展了600万用户(其中蜗牛用户达到200万),预计2015年用户将突破千万。2015年1-4月,虚拟运营商用户总数超过520万,占中国移动电话用户数的0.4%。1-4月三家基础运营商移动用户净增686万户,虚商用户净增超300万,占1-4月中国净增用户数超30%。

The CEO of Snail Mobile Chenyan used a set of data to illustrate the speed of the development of the MVNO industry in China. From August 2014, China MVNO has developed over 6 million subscribers (2 million in Snail Mobile). And the quantity of MVNO subscribers would break through 10 million. From January 2015 to April 2015, the total number of MVNO subscribers has broken through 5.2 million, account for 0.4% of the number of China Mobile phone users . At the same time,the number of subs of 3 MNOs has increased 6.86 million,and MVNO’s has increased 3 million, account for 30% of the numberi of new subs from January to April.

 

陈总认为,中国MVNO市场占尽了天时地利人和。

Chenyan thought China MVNO market has a variety of favorable conditions for development.

 

1)天时:政策红利、运营商支持、互联网+

1) Opportunity: bonus of policy, the support from MNOs, the idea of “Internet+”

 

首先,中国业务主管部门发布各类支持虚拟运营商发展的政策文件;其次,运营商积极向虚商开放试点,相继开放4G业务,向虚商放号近5000万;最后,互联网+的时代已经到来,移动互联网的红利将推动虚商的发展壮大。

Firstly, China communication executive branch has launched a variety of policies to support the development of MVNO. Secondly, MNOs give authority and 50 million phone numbers to MVNOs to develop 4G business. Finally, the time of Internet+ has come.

 

2)地利:人口优势、细分市场、民企活力

首先,2014年中国总人口13.6亿,以2%的市场转化率,虚商市场规模将达2.7亿,人口优势显著;其次,42家虚拟运营商,包含内容商、渠道商、技术商等,

能将各自的优势引入通信行业中,实现市场细分;最后,民营企业能够利用其创新力推动通信行业的革新,以创新赢得用户,保持通信行业的活力。

At first, the population of China in 2014 was 1.36 billion, if 2% of them use MVNO’s service, it would be 270 million subs.  We got a clear demographic advantage. Secondly, there are content producer, marketing channel provider, technology provider among those 42 MVNOs, and they could put their own advantage into the communication industry to proceed the market segmentation. Finally, private enterprise could use their ability of innovation to promote the reform and innovation of communication industry to keep a active communication industry by attract more new subs.

 

3)人和:个性化通信、多元化选择、差异化服务

3) Various requirement from consumers: individuation communication, diversification choices, differentiated service

 

首先,个人意识的觉醒,个性化定制成为新的消费潮流,虚拟运营商更能为消费者定制个性化通信生活;其次,虚拟运营商的出现,给消费者多元化的通信选择,用户拥有更大的自主权,契合消费者需求;最后,虚拟运营商更注重消费者的服务价值,能够结合主营业务和特色为消费者提供差异化的服务。
